On the seventh day of Christmas Kate Lord Brown hangs a camel on the RNA tree...
Here is our cross eyed camel :) He's not the loveliest decoration on the tree, but means a lot as he was given to us at a clandestine live Nativity on a remote farm here last year (live camels, donkey, baby etc!), our first Christmas in the desert.

New Year's Eve, 1940: Evie Chase, the beautiful debutante daughter of a rich and adoring RAF commander, listens wistfully to the swing music drifting out from the ballroom, unable to join in the fun. It is, Liz! I think Clarence was a cross-eyed lion, but that's what we called him. Jan, my husband is posted out here, and as we are east of Sa*di any xian celebrations are low key:) Happy New Year all! K x
